#1. Give clear instructions ahead of the meeting

#2. Create an agenda and assign roles

Make the assumption that your team doesn't want to participate in the meeting. Then, do al that you can to help persuade them to participate. The real value of a Zoom meeting is that you get to see each other and interact face to face. So, give your team members some facetime. Identify the three to five major points that you want to cover in the meeting. Then, add these meeting points to the calendar invite. Don't assume that just because you put ''project reports from team leaders'' into the agenda, that your team leaders will prepare a report. Instead, after you send the invite, contact each team leader to prep them.

#3. Use zoom breakout rooms to get participants to engage with each other more

Zoom has a revolutionary feature called breakout rooms. This allows you to reassemble a big group meeting into a number of smaller meetings. This is a great way to make your zoom meetings more interactive and more interesting. The bigger your zoom meeting, the less likely people will want to talk during the meeting. The smaller the group, the more intimate the conversations.
